I am thankful to live a life with amazing health benefits and loads of energy, but it wasn't always this way.
I believe that food and what we put in our bodies are vital for good health and feeling our very best. When we are consuming foods that are nourishing and full of vitamins and minerals that our bodies need to thrive, that's when you can see the real results happening.
A raw wholesome natural lifestyle and foods full of colors and antioxidants is my guidelines and it shows the way that I eat and the way we live by in our little home, here in South of Sweden.
But let me tell you that it wasn’t always this way. There was a time in my life when I was suffering from loads of horrible health issues such as asthma and allergies, hypothyroidism, adrenal fatigue, brain fog, chronic fatigue, IBS, heavy and painful periods only to mention a few. I found myself exhausted after spending time and a fortune on health specialists, doctors, supplements, trying all type of diets and every time it ended up with me leaving their office in tears and feeling hopeless. Was this a life I had to accept ?
When I met my love 7 years ago, he had suffered from a serious autoimmune disease called psoriasis arthritis in his younger 20's. His story on how he decided to take health in his own hands after being placed on some heavy serious medication and after researching how he was way too young starting out on those medications (we are talking low doses of chemotherapy tablets and weekly cortisone injections), he decided (after loads of research) on cutting out refined sugar, dairy and wheat and eating majority of a plant based diet and it eventually helped him so he could stop his medication and he has been living healthy and symptom free ever since. When we met I had already been going gluten/ wheat free and dairy free and I wasn't eating refined sugar. Even though I was feeling better than ever I still felt that something was not feeling right. We tested our mineral levels and I found out that I was carrying loads of mercury in my body. This explained so much and it made so much sense to me. After starting a diet in raw and plant based foods and a proper detox and balancing all my minerals and my diet, eventually we were living a healthy, plant-based life free of symptoms, medications and no fad temporary diets or quick fixes.
We still do our tests once a year to see exactly what and if our bodies are missing something, and then we balance it with the right food and some extra minerals and vitamins if needed. I realized that the body really knows what to do in order to heal, but I had to put in the effort and give my lovely body the right environment for it to be able to get back to where it was suppose to be. Happy, healthy and full of energy.
After becoming an expert on myself and my body I eventually got my nutrition degree and my biggest goal and inspiration has been to help others to better health ever since.
I know it can be hard sometimes and trust me when I say that I can understand how you're feeling and I can completely understand that it might seem hopeless and it's not an easy road. But I am also here to tell you that there is a way to feel healthy again and to find your way back to wellness.
No fad diets, no crashing after meals, no sugar addiction - just simply be able to eat a lot of whole raw nutrient dense foods, balance your body if it's missing something, having loads of energy throughout the day and feeling over all happy about yourself.
I never knew it was possible to feel this way and I can honestly say that I am the happiest, healthiest and in the best shape that I have ever been.
I will continue dedicating my life to spread kindness, compassion, awareness on all of my channels and I will provide you all with the information needed to start a plant based and healthy lifestyle.
